----
RAMP: A ramp has been installed at the entrance to the apparatus bay coming out of the hallway.
This ramp was installed at eh suggestion of our insurance carrier. There's potential for someone to wrench an ankle if they aren't expecting the step down. I want to say thanks to Jake Cole, Cole Tarbel and Joe Demers for there great engineering feat!
----
STUDENT: We now have a 4th student, sort of. Jake Boyden is a fire science student at SMCC, while not a live-in program student, Jake will be a student intern at Goodwins Mills.  With the exception of living at the station, Jake will participate in all other functions and requirements of the live in program.
----
MANDATORY REPORTER TRAINING:  All EMS providers are required by law to complete "Mandatory Reporter Training" every 4-years. The law became effective on July 29, 2016.
The link below will take you to the training site. This is a self-study course, complete the powerpoints then take the quiz and print the certificate. Please provide a copy of the certificate to LT Daniels, so we can ensure you are credited for completion. http://www.maine.gov/dhhs/ocfs/mandated-reporters.shtml
If you do come upon a situation that requires reporting. Document such in your PCR. And give me a heads up so I can follow up on your report with DHHS.
