M&M Rounds: Doc Brown will be holding EMS M&M Rounds on Tuesday June 25 at 1800. M&M Rounds are a review and discussion of local EMS calls, issues and trends.

Physical Agility Test: All members currently in a probationary status (anyone who's been on the department less than 6 months) are required to complete the PAT on July 13th. Testing will begin at 0800.

Student Update: Our next semester students, Luke Loudon and Jon Bicking, have completed SMCC orientation. They both will be here for the PAT and have a move in date of July 28.

Staging: When we're called to stage for the State Police, consider staging the ambulance at the station. There is no need to stage if the SP isn't even on scene yet. When you do go stage, DO NOT drive by the scene! Stage at an intersection between the station and the scene. One mile from the scene is good. Use the I AM Responding map to find a good location and make sure Fire Alarm knows where you are staged at.

This week is Firefighter Safety Stand Down Week. The theme for this year is to REDUCE YOUR EXPOSURE: IT'S EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY! Check out this near miss where a Hazmat Team was involved with a cancer screening study with Cancer Dogs. The reporter's test came back positive. Seven months later they had a tumor.
