PROMOTION: Congratulations to FF/EMT Thom Hooper on his selection for promotion to Lieutenant. His radio number will be LT 8-8, and he is assigned as OIC Company B. During our recent promotion process I was very pleased at the number and quality of applicants we had. This process was much more deliberate and detailed than previous promotion process. I want to thank everyone involved.

HYDRANT TESTING: We're running a bit behind with our hydrant testing. AChf Duross has put out guidance in the form of Directive 2633. We've got to get this done before the end of October.

AERIAL OPERATIONS COURSE: November 12 and 22. This is a requirement for EVO3 qualification. Instructors are Lt Tarbell and LFF Richardson. A sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

PUMP RELAY DRILLS: Sunday. This is a joint training with Waterboro and Alfred. If you plan to attend be at our station before 0730.

INSURANCE Forms: In your mailboxes is a beneficiary form from Provident. We have changed from Hartford Insurance to Provident. Provident gives us much better coverage at a better price. Please complete these forms ASAP and return them to the Chaplain.
