Congratulations to James Gambino! Our newest EMT. James passed the national registry exam on his first attempt!

EVO2 Needed to take Engine 81 to Hollis on May 30th and/or June 6th for FF2 class A burns and end test. Pls contact the Deputy.

Engine 81: It's back. I think you'll be surprised at how well the truck picks up and holds a draft.

Engine 83 Update: I got an e-mail from Ray Smith yesterday. It's looking more like the week of June 1st for the truck to arrive in Mass.  We're tentatively scheduling the commissioning ceremony for the new engine on June 30th.

Recruiting: We've had several applications submitted. We'll be reviewing them and scheduling interviews soon.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE.  Monday, May 25, 2015. Line up is on Waterhouse Road starting at 1230.  Drivers are needed. Pls contact Captain Lang.

BLS Firefighter Course: Instructors are needed. The course will run from August 24 through October. Each participating department will host one module. An organizational meeting will be held on May 27th at 1900 at the Sanford PD conference room.  What module do we want to sponsor?

Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation: We've received a grant of $500 from the KSB Foundation to use for community fire safety. The intent is to purchase "Stove Top Fire Stops" to provide to elderly residents of Lyman and Dayton. http://www.stovetopfirestop.com/2014/06/video/stovetop-firestop-product-demonstration
