OPEN SHIFTS: MONDAY 6/13 0700-1100.  July; 9th 0700-1900. 19th 1900-0700 (24) (must be EMT), 26th 0700-1900.  August 3 0700-1900.

PAT:  Our PAT for candidates will be held tomorrow. 0900. LT Roma is organizing this event. We do need some help setting up and running the test.

Fire Instructors needed for the Live-in FF2 Academy: The SMCC Live-In program Firefighter I & II Academy will be conducted from August 8 through August 26th. Instructors are needed. All Lead Instructors must be  Fire Service Instructor I / II certified. Assistant Instructors are to be Fire Instructor I certified. Furthermore, we are asking that the Instructors, Lead or Assistant, attend a meeting, Date TBD, to discuss the program and expectations.  If interested, please contact Chief Michael Robitaille mrobitaille@yarmouth.me.us   CC; Chief Hooper  rhooper@gmfd.org   We need to hear from Instructors before July 1st.

Ambulance RFPs: The submission deadline was June 8th. RFPs have been opened and are available for review in the conference room.

Driving Safety:  Backing up apparatus should only be done as a last resort, and then, only done with a spotter in place.   If the posted speed limit is 35 MPH, what's the speed limit for an emergency vehicle?

Bike races: Several bicycle races have been schedule for this summer. The first is this weekend. The "Tour De Cure" will be this Sunday.

EMS survey: Dr Nilson is asking for some feedback from EMS providers. Please take a few minutes to complete this on-line survey  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NBNYN57  This survey is looking for feedback about communications with ED when calling in for report and trying to reach OLMC.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support:  We will be hosting and ACLS class on June 21st from 1700-2200. Click HERE for the registration form. Sign up soon, seats are limited. FYI contact AChief Harris.

Bake Sale: The Dayton Historical Preservation Committee will be holding a bake sale Tuesday June 14, during the election. If you would like to donate baked goods you can drop them off at the Town Office Monday between noon and 6:00 pm. or Tuesday after 8:00 am.

Veterans:  We're trying to rejuvenate the local American Legion Post. If you're a qualifying veteran, please consider joining. Our current post is near collapse. The group historically has assisted with the memorial day parade, decorating veterans graves and sponsors the local Junior Legion Baseball Team.  If you're interested please call me.
