Funeral Details:  Thank you to all of you who stepped to support the details for recent funerals of two of our past  members.  On Friday we rendered honors for Dave Bastille. Dave was our first ever full-time employee. Back in 1977 and 1978, Dave was our only on-duty firefighter.
  Tomorrow, we will render honors for Everett Mooers. Everett was a long time resident of Lyman. He passed away 2 days before his 98th birthday.  He served on the GMFD through the 40's, 50's and 60's. He held the rank of Captain. Everett also served as a Selectman and on many other Town boards and committees. Detail meets at the station at 1030 for an 1100 show-time.

Saco Ladder:  Saco Ladder 1 is back in service following its half-life overhaul.

Dayton Holiday Fair: Dayton Community Club will hold their Holiday Fair at the Dayton School, Saturday Dec. 3rd  from 9:00 AM to 1:00 Pm. Santa will be stopping in for a visit at 10:00 AM. There will also be a bake sale, The Scholastic Book Fair and much more. Free admission.

Blood Drive: Our next blood drive is Saturday, December 10th from 0900-1400.

Santa Visit and Christmas Tree Lighting: Saturday, December 10th, 1600-1800.

November Call Stats:  We ran 58 call in the month of November. Tuesdays and Friday were our busiest days. 12% of our calls were between 1500 and 1600. 10% were between 0300 and 0500. We averaged 2 minutes to get on the road, and on scene in an average of 7 minutes.

EVO1 Testing:  An EVO1 test is scheduled for Sunday 12/11.  FMI: Engineer Howard Smith.
