OPEN SHIFTS: APRIL: Thu 4/20 1900-0700 (must be EMT). MAY: None at the moment. JUNE: Wed 6/7, Sat 6/10, Thu 6/15, Fri 6/23.

CEREMONY: Ambulance 86 ceremony tomorrow at 1300.

BANQUET: 1730 tomorrow at the Ramada Inn in Saco.
---- IMAGE TREND ELITE:  We are scheduled to go live with the new patient care reporting software on June 1st.  On May 1st we will have access to train and set up our preferences.

FIRE DANGER CLASS DAYS: The spring fire season is upon us. The Forest Service has begun broadcasting Fire Danger Class days. Today was a class 3 fire danger.
----
BURN PERMITS:  I have posted a copy of our burn permit policy, Directive 2581, in the watch desk. Please look it over.  I've made 2 changes to it. We will not issue permits when sustained winds are over 10 MPH. On class 3 days, burning will only be permitted after 1700.
----
RADIO PROCEDURES: SOG 3404 has been updated to cover not just the VCBRs but also other matters of radio use. A copy is on the bulletin board.  Our UHF no longer have "TAC" channels in them. All the TAC channels are on the VHF radios.  See GN 17-1471

MX 207: The first race is scheduled for April 30th. SOG 3343 is in place to set up procedures for calls to MX207 during races.  Track familiarization training has been scheduled for May 7th.

DRIVERS NEEDED: I'm looking for a driver for Forestry 87 on April 29th to support wild land fire training for the FF 1&2 Academy and the SRTC FF 1&2 course.  And on May 4th, I need a driver for Engine 81 and a driver and EMT for Ambulance 85 to support the structural burns for the SRTC class.
