FULL-TIME VACANCY: As I'm sure you all know by now, FF Guillemette has taken a position with the Saco FD. Sandy's last F/T shift with us will be on 6/12. She is staying on as a per diem.
Her vacancy has been posted. Applications are being accepted until June 28 at 1700.

NEXT PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST: On July 13 starting at 0800 we will run a PAT for all probationary employees and candidates for full-time.

SHIFT VACANCIES: Moving forward, we're going to get a little more organized with filling vacant shifts. Directive 2108 has been updated.
Directive 2108: 8.0) Shift Vacancies.
8.1) Vacant shifts will be announced prior to the 15th day of the month before the vacancy. (Example: A vacancy on July 5th will be announced on June 15th). Individuals desiring to work that vacancy, will make such request before the 20th day of the month prior. Before the 25th day of the month prior, vacancies will be filled and notifications will be made.
8.2) Urgent vacancies, or vacancies that don’t fit into this time line will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
8.3) All vacancies will be filled with the individual with the most desired qualifications.

PER DIEM QUALIFICATIONS: I am extending the deadline for qualifications for templeted per diem shifts by one month. Beginning July 31, to hold a templeted per diem shift, employees must possess three of these four qualifications: FF2, EMTB, EVO2 or appointed fire officer.

TOUR DE CURE bicycle ride will be going through town on Sunday. Route 5 (from Wakefield Rd) to Route 35 to Kennebunk. It starts at 0700 and should end at about 1500.
